Prophet T.B. Joshua
He also gave $50,000 to victims of the disease and hired a private jet at $50,000 to convey the spiritual items to the country.
According to his post on Facebook, the items were donated by him and his ‘Emmanuel TV Partners’ to support the Ebola-stricken country.
He also warned Nigeria on the way they are handling the Ebola crisis. He said the government is taking the issue to far which is creating a bad image for the nation.
According to him, just because one man came from another country and died of Ebola in a Lagos hospital does not mean Nigeria is not safe.
The prophet said our challenge in Nigeria is not Ebola but rather insecurity.
T.B. Joshua is known for his claims of using divine powers to heal all kinds of diseases and disabilities, prompting sick people from all over Africa and the world to throng the church.
When the first case of the Ebola virus was reported in Nigeria, the Lagos State Ministry of Health and the Federal Government had paid a sensitization visit to T.B Joshua’s church over the deadly virus as part of plans to combat the inflow of the deadly disease into the country.
The prophet, who pledged his loyalty to the state government, making known his intentions to join the government in combating the deadly disease, later warned those already infected with the disease to stay in their countries.
