A young swimmer luckily escapes being eaten by a crocodile in Sian Ka’an, Mexico.
A horrifying footage of a boy trying to escape from being caught
by a huge crocodile who was chasing him through the water appeared on
the Internet.
Luckily for the boy, a witted witness to the incident, who was
standing on a nearby bridge, managed to stop the predator by throwing an
object at him. The swimmer reached the shore while the crocodile gave
chase.
Some also believe that the boy was lucky as the reptile is fed
regularly by tourists and fishermen and wasn’t feeling hungry. Locals
themselves do not swim in these waters as it’s to dangerous.
Manuel Cerrara, who shot the video said, “Unfortunately, that
crocodile already associated us with food and as the video shows the boy
was saved because the crocodile is well fed and chased at a pace that
allowed him to reach the shore.”
Crocodile attacks on people are common in places where large
crocodilians are native and human populations live. Only six of the 23
crocodilian species are considered dangerous to adult humans, and only
individuals 2 metres in length or more represent a serious danger to
humans, as smaller crocodiles are considered incapable of killing a
person.
However, even the smallest species can inflict painful bites
requiring stitches if harassed. In addition, a small child may be of a
similar size to the prey of some of the crocodilian species incapable of
preying on adult humans. The two species with the most well-known and
documented reputation for preying on humans are the Nile crocodile and
saltwater crocodile.see vidoo Boy Flees In Panic As Giant Croc Chases Him Through Water

Michael Jackson's Fan Bleaches Skin With Acid To Look Like His Idol
Brazilian fan of the late music legend Michael Jackson spent
fortune to look like his hero and even bleached with acid to lighten his
complexion.
Photo: Antonio Gleidson Rodrigues
First Antonio Gleidson Rodrigues, who calls himself No.1 Michael Jackson impersonator in Brazil, underwent plastic surgery on nose.
Then the 32-year-old man had hyaluronic acid injected into his face to whiten his skin and botox – into the area under eyes. Soon Gleidson had surgery in his teeth and crowned it all with eyebrows tattooed, Daily Mail reports.
Photo: Michael Jackson
However, the man, who now spends 4 hours daily to imitate Jackson’s dance moves, aims to perform other surgeries and if he manages to raise enough money, he wants to have his cheekbones, eyebrows, forehead and nose modified.
Gleidson confessed that he first got the idea of becoming Jackson’s look-alike at the age of 19 when his drama class mates suggested he resembled the pop star.
“It was tough, they teased me for around 15 days and the mothers of the children even got involved. By the end of it I was caught up – I had the bug.”
The man’s relatives worry about his “obsession” as his aunt Maria Doriane Bastos de Souza calls it, and about his health, both physical and emotional.

Kifasi Was Indicted For Corruption, Declared Unfit
This week President Goodluck Jonathan appointed Danladi Irmiya Kifasi
as the new Head of Service (HoS) of the Federation, which is deemed by
many as a very controversial move. Apparently, the new HoS was indicted
of corruption in 2000 and barred from holding public office.
This information is contained in a White Paper obtained by SaharaReporters.
The now overseer of the nation’s civil service hails from Taraba State. He previously served as a Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum Resources. This fact sparks the first suspicion: probably it was the powerful minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, who influenced the president in his decision to appoint Kifasi, despite his past.
The leaked document referred to Kifasi’s involvement in a financial scandal at the Federal Superphosphate Fertilizer Company (FSFC) in Kaduna. In 2000, a panel of inquiry looked into a scandal that involved Mr. Kifasi (then the director of the FSFC), Awal Tukur, Jide Omokore, who is also close to President Jonathan, Ben Osuji, J.B. Ghumdia, J.O. Odu, and Fivatek Nigeria Limited.
The panel investigated how the mentioned subjects defrauded the FSFC by making up costs, misappropriating funds, inflating the price of items and tampering with the contract for the building of a sulphuric acid plant.
The investigation confirmed that Kifasi had given out free bags of fertilizer to officials in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, handed out four AWD trucks ordered for the plant to agriculture officials.
The White Paper recommended that Kifasi should refund the total amount of funds spent on overpricing of items during his tenure. The commission added that Kifasi’s acts of corruption led to huge losses and imposed a heavy debt burden on the FSFC.
The sums subject to refunding included N20,047,844.25 lost by the company through his hyperinflation of prices for sulphuric acid, N12,100,000 being the difference between funds he claimed to have spent on a missing fire truck and water tanker and the correct price of the vehicle.
In conclusion, the commission declared Kifasi unfit to hold public office.
Nevertheless, the embattled stakeholder later claimed that late President Umaru Yar’Adua had extended a presidential pardon to him. However, he did not present any reference to the official governmental papers to back this claim.

Ebola: Stop Lying Against Me Or – T.B. Joshua Warns
Speaking to Ynaija reporter in a telephone interview, the prophet debunked rumours making rounds that a Liberian man who came to his church for deliverance died of Ebola.
In a statement released by the church, SCOAN denied having anything to do the drinking and bathing with salt water to prevent Ebola rumour which went viral last week.
The statement reads in part: “Our attention has been draw to a rumour spreading in some Africa country and online that Prophet T.B Joshua of the Synagogue Church of all nation in corroboration with the ministry of health, instructed the citizens of those nations battling with Ebola virus to take their bathe with warm water and salt for protection and healing from the deadly Ebola Virus. We are using this medium to inform the world and especially, those nations battling with this virus that Prophet T.B Joshua and SCOAN has nothing to do with such report, the message is false it’s not from Prophet T.B Joshua’s ministry.”
After the Lagos State Ministry of Health and the Federal Government paid a sensitization visit to T.B Joshua’s church over the Ebola, the prophet pledged his loyalty to join the government in combating the deadly disease.
There were reports that T.B. Joshua sent 4,000 bottles of his ‘anointing water’ and $50,000 to Sierra Leone to help the country in its fight against the deadly virus.

a huge sum of money in his stomach at the airport in Montego Bay,
Jamaica.
Eddy Alberio Mancipe Ortega made a bold attempt to smuggle $103,500 in more than 80 plastic packages in his stomach. The contrabandist was heading from Jamaica to Trinidad as he was stopped by officials and sent to the nearest police station for interrogation
Later he spent two days passing 80 plastic containers with dollars and eventually was sentenced to three months in Jamaican prison. The man had already been in police custody for eight months and was deported by officials with ‘immediate effect’.
Financial Investigation Division chief Justin Felice said: “This is the first instance that we have found cash being smuggled from Jamaica in such a fashion. It is indicative of how far persons will go in an effort to evade detection by law enforcement tasked with combating money laundering”.

MTO claims Beyonce's family member snitched to them about what's really going on with the couple
On Jay Z and Beyonce's relationship, in general:
[Jay Z is] a rapper so all that tough exterior is all a lie, he's extremely soft. Esp towards her. So the tabloids are wrong. He's not the controller, if anyone is, that's Bey. Jay is extremely jealous too. Hates to see her getting too close to men. And with her job, she can't help it so this causes problems between them. But they fight one day n the next day, they are all over each other, hugging, kissing and all that. Its sad that people say they are all about business because I've seen first hand how close they are.On Bey's miscarriage:
Bey had another miscariage. Jay got mad because the dr said she was over working and she refused to slow down. This was the beginning of their problems. Jay told her to end the tour but she said she couldn't . . . the problems went on cos she won't end the tour. The elevator incident:
That in no way had anything to do with either of them flirting. Though they had their issues. Solange has a very bad attitude. Bad temper n uses kinda mild drugs. Jay made fun of her bf and she was high so she started all that. Bey didn't step because they were aware that elevators have cameras and she kept telling him in there not to hit her back or do anything stupid cos its him the world will judge not Solange, that julius will handle it.On what's the current state of their relationship:
Jay felt embarrassed when it leaked n wanted to address it in the truth but Bey said they would be embarrassing Solange, wanting to get in her good books, Jay was cool with that.
Bey stopped letting Jay touch her . . . So Jay got worried about their marriage n involved counsellors. She told him the marriage wasn't working n they should separate, he didn't want that cos that would mean she could date. And separations usually end in divorce.
He couldn't stand another man touching her. So Jay's [closest friends] advised him to get her pregnant. . . Things were still bad as at the first show, even the 2nd. After that things got better and she allowed him have his way, since then, they've gotten closer. Jay told [his friends] that the tour healed their marriage. And they are trying for their 2nd baby now.
Jay and Bey want to take a year off music and be a family. Well, that's that...
Major-General (rtd) Patrick Aziza Died At 66
The first military Governor of Kebbi State, after its
separation from Sokoto, Major-General (rtd) Patrick Aziza, passed away
in Abuja on August 16, 2014, Saturday, around 3.45am.
The development is especially painful for Deltans and Urhobo nation, as Aziza occupied the post of the President General of the Urhobo Progress Union. He has reportedly lost his battle with cancer.
Groups of Aziza’s kinsmen were seen wailing and crying: “Our iroko has fallen.”
The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Dr. Steve Oru, was one of the first to express his condolences, saying that the Urhobo nation had lost a true son and a true general.
Senator Emmanuel Aguariavwodo, representing Delta Central at the National Assembly, described Aziza’s death as tragic and sad.
“He served Nigeria very well. After all that, he came home to serve his people. He was a true servant of the people,” the senator added.
Patrick Aziza was born in Okpe, Delta, on December 23, 1947.
He was appointed the first military administrator of Kebbi State (August 1991 – January 1992) during General Ibrahim Babangida’s regime.
Aziza supported the coup in which General Sani Abacha took power, and even held position of the Minister of Communications of his military government.
The late general took another ministerial post (Minister of Commerce and Tourism) during the transitional regime of General Abdulsalami Abubakar (June 1998 – May 1999).
Aziza worked with the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan as National Security Adviser. However, due to rise of Boko Haram attacks and some disagreements Jonathan approved removal of the general in June 2012.
Rest in peace.

Nuhu Ribadu Decamps From APC To PDP
There are strong indications that a former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, leaves the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) and joins the camp of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to PremiumTimes, who spoke to a member of PDP executive committee in Bako, the ward of ex EFCC boss in Yola South Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Ribadu had been registered as PDP member and the party membership card had been issued for him.
The source pleaded for anonymity, because of the sensitive nature of this information.
It was not possible to reach either Ribadu or his spokesperson, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, at the time of filing the present report. The official confirmation by the ex anti-corruption chief is awaited.
Ribadu used to be a presidential candidate of the platform of the now-defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) during 2011 elections. Until today, he has been considered as one of the presidential prospects of the main opposition force of the country for February 2015 presidential elections.
It has been previously reported that the leadership of the ruling party, led by PDP National Chairman, Adamu Mu’azu, mounted pressure on Ribadu to join the party in a bid to win Adamawa guber poll, scheduled for October 11.
The before-time election became possible after APC’s Governor Murtala Nyako was impeached by the State Assembly in the middle of July 2014.
The Acting Governor, Umaru Fintiri, and a son of a former PDP National Chairman Bamanga Tukur, Awwal Tukur, have marked their clear intentions to seek the PDP governorship nomination for the election. An ex military administrator of Lagos state, Buba Marwa, is also interested in Adamawa guber race.
I Am Satisfied With Jonathan's Effort To Rescue Chibok Girls - IBB
Former Military President, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida
has made it known today that efforts of the Goodluck Jonathan’s
administration to rescue the Chibok girls are justified.
The former military president made it known in an interview with Sun Newspaper, today, talking and shedding more lights on his views about the Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram amongst other happenings in the country.
He granted the interview as one of the ways in celebrating his 73rd birthday today.
Read the excerpt below:
It has been over 100 days since the kidnapping of the Chibok school girls. Despite the assurances by the international community, the girls have not been found. What is the way forward? When do you think we can get these girls back home to their parents?
”Perhaps the way forward is what government is doing now. I know there are complications. It is no longer an issue that you could ask the military to move into Sambisa forest and rescue the girls. I think Nigerians want the girls rescued and brought back home alive not dead; that is a very daring thing to do. From my experience as a professional soldier, a lot of planning, a lot of cooperation, a lot of study has to be done to achieve this objective. 217 or whatever the number is, is a lot of population to lose just like that. So I think government is trying from what we got during our last briefing; I am quite satisfied that efforts are really being made to get the girls out. You see, the objective is to get them out of that place alive, the operative word is alive, you can order a full scale military operation and you could get them all killed which would defeat the objective.”
It would be recalled that just recently, Following incessant attacks by Boko Haram in Borno state, the governor of the state, Kassim Shettima, held a closed-door meeting with Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida.
